Dual Motors For Landing Gear

Has anyone gone to dual motors for their front landing gear jacks? I had a RV tech tell me that many are now going to a separate motor for each landing gear because of the extra weight of toy haulers. I am thinking about doing this because the gear shafts seem to break too often.

RE: Toy Hauler for Full Time Living?

For the past two years we have been full timers in a KZ New Vision Sportster and absolutely love it. When we take our trike out, we set up the garage area with the computer, etc and make an office area out of it. We looked for three years and went with the New Vision because of the floor plan. We have a separate bathroom. We are more than satisfied with the KZ and their service.

RE: Screen door, plexi glass insets

We had the Lexan and found it heavy. We then bought some clear window film and taped it on with double sided tape. We then used a hair dryer to pull it tight, almost like shrink wrap. That has really worked for us and it doesn't add any wieight to the door.

RE: Thousand Trails Reviews

Leno, we love Lake Texoma, Bay Landing and Lake Whitney in Texas. Lake Texoma is probably the nicest TT in Texas. We have been to 17 TT's throughout the East and Texas and liked them all except Conroe. We have been members of TT's for 6 years and now that we are fulltimers we are seeing a great return on our investment.

RE: Replacing sofabed

We replaced our sofa bed with a leather Berkliner loveseat recliner that we found at Sam's Club. It fit perfectly and wasn't as expensive as furniture stores.

RE: Looking for place to buy landing gear switch

I know marine stores also sell these type of switches. I had problems with mine and KZ sent me a new one at no charge. I used WD-40 on my old one and it started working. I now have a spare if it ever goes out permanently.

RE: Durango 325SB (08)..Newbie member

I don't own a Durango but I do have a New Vision Sportster , also built by KZ. KZ stands behind their product and will work with you on any problems you might have. We have had a few minor issues and they have been right there for us.

RE: Fulltiming in fifth wheel toy hauler?

We fulltime in a 38' KZ New Vision and absolutely love it. When the bike is not in the back we set up the computer and use it like an office. KZ has a high customer satisfaction and they stand by their product, Their customer service department is great to deal with.

Switch For Front Jacks

Has anyone had a problem with the switch for the going bad? I had the motor replaced six months ago. The switch was giving me problems by not extending. If I pushed it to retract and then pushed to extend it would work. Now it doesn't work at all. How difficult are they to replace?
